You finish getting ready for bed and start climbing the ladder, leading to your secret place, your cozy hideout in the attic. pushing the heavy wooden floor-door and stepping into the attic, you are immediately greeted by the familiar scent of this little place, the scent of solid wood, books and some sweet scented candles, from the night before.. this had become your favorite place to lay your head at night, at times where you just want to hide from the rest of the world and the worries that come along with it. You lock the door from the inside and light a few candles.. the room feels nice and warm as heavy raindrops start hitting the attic's skylight window's glass.. this cozy attic has everything you need when youre seeking a safe hidden place to spend your nights. all alone, safe and warm in this little hideout, you drift into different enchanting worlds that exist only in your beloved books.. you lay your head on a big fluffy pillow in your favorite spot to fall asleep in: on the big soft mattress beneath the big window, where you can just lay there and watch the raindrops hitting the glass above your head. This is when you feel the most safe and calm. these magical moments where its only you and the rain, where you can finally let go of all the stress and worries and just be. you grab a blanket, take a sip of your favorite nighttime drink and open your book. calming rain on window sounds fill the room as you drift into another world.
