Stop throwing away your organic banana peels and use them in 3 creative ways. BANANA PEEL CHUTNEY 🍌 6 x banana peel (we used a mix of ripe and unripe) 2 x tbsp garlic and herbs powder 2 x tbsp paprika 2 x tbsp BBQ rubbing (@wickedkitchen) 1 x tbsp homemade celery salt 1 x sliced onion Olive oil STEP BY STEP: - Cut the ends of your banana peel (save them for the last recipe) - Scoop out the white part (save it for the last recipe) - Use a fork to make it into stripes - Add all the ingredients to a pan and cook for around 20-30 mins - Add the mix to a jar and store in the fridge NOTE: you can use ripe or unripe bananas and add any spices you like BANANA HOUSEPLANT FERTILISER: 🪴 2 x banana peel or Any scrap from the first recipe plus any extra banana peel you have Unchlorinated water STEP BY STEP: - Place the jar in a sunny spot for at least 24 hours - Dilute 50/50 with water or use directly - Dispose of the peel into your compost BANANA CHIPS: 🍟 3 to 6 x ripe or unripe bananas - dehydrate at low temp until fully dry - Store in a jar
