ASMR is an acronym and stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It is an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. ASMR is triggered by things like whispering voices, paper tearing, scalp massage, and eating sounds. In my video, I eat food with almost no talking but sometimes with a little whisper. I use the Blue Yeti, microphone for my asmr videos (but lately I am hoping to buy the Zoom microphone). ASMR videos are becoming a very popular genre of YouTube videos. South Korea has been leading the online eating show genre called Mukbang (먹방). ASMR and Mukbang has come together and there is a growing ASMR-Mukbang community on YouTube.
