ASMR is an acronym and stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It is defined as, a feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus, often a particular sound. "ASMR is triggered by things like whispering voices, paper tearing, and scalp massage, eating sounds". In my video, I eat food with almost no talking but sometimes with a little whisper. I use the Blue Yeti Microphone for my ASMR videos (but lately I am hoping to buy the Tascam microphone). ASMR videos are becoming a very popular genre of Youtube videos. South Korea has been leading this eating video genre called Mukbang (먹방). ASMR and Mukbang has come together and there is a growing ASMR-Mukbang community on youtube.
